Aliens: Dust to Dust #2

Gabriel Hardman's cover for this second chapter of the four-issue Dust to Dust series makes the tagline "Nothing Left But Fear!" feel entirely earned — a Xenomorph lunges directly toward the viewer, claws splayed and jaws open, with two more of the creatures visible in the dusty, smoke-choked background. The earthy, rust-toned palette by Rain Beredo gives the swarm an almost suffocating weight, as if the colony dust itself has come alive with teeth. Dark Horse's 2018 miniseries continues to look like one of the more unsettling entries in the Aliens comics line.
