James Stokoe's Aliens: Dead Orbit reaches its fourth and final issue with a cover that makes the threat viscerally clear — a towering Xenomorph looms over a space-suited figure whose helmet has been horrifically breached, debris scattering through a claustrophobic industrial corridor bathed in cold purple light. Every inch of Stokoe's intricately detailed linework rewards a close look, from the creature's arched, screaming maw to the layers of paneling and machinery consuming the background. It's a fittingly intense cap to one of 2017's most visually distinctive entries in the Aliens comics universe.
