Alien Pig Farm 3000 #4

The penultimate issue of this wild sci-fi series from 2007 wraps up with a cover by Mark Schultz that sets a suitably pulpy, sword-and-sandals tone: a hulking horned alien creature looms menacingly over a muscular hero and a woman draped in purple cloth, both clearly in peril as chains and bladed weapons fill the frame. It's the kind of gloriously over-the-top imagery that fits perfectly with the team of Todd Farmer, Thomas Jane, Steve Niles, and Don Marquez pushing their outlandish premise to the limit. If you've been following this Image series, issue #4 promises the chaos is far from over.
