Volume 16 of Haro Asô's survival thriller presents a striking cover dominated by a suit-and-tie figure whose dark form seems to dissolve into swirling, marble-like currents of teal and black, surrounded by bursts of neon pink and cyan. The psychedelic distortion gives the composed, sunglasses-wearing figure an unsettling, almost otherworldly menace — style meeting dread in equal measure. Published by Delcourt/Tonkam in 2017, this French edition is a great entry point into one of manga's most visually arresting series.
