The concluding chapter of "The Underneath" arc arrives with a hauntingly beautiful cover by David Mack — a painterly, watercolor portrait of Jessica Jones rendered against a layered backdrop of handwritten script, soft washes of purple and blue, and a small broken heart motif at her chest. Her expression is contemplative and raw, her wild hair dissolving into abstract brushstrokes, capturing the emotional weight that Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos brought to this acclaimed MAX Comics series.
