Part of Delcourt's "Les Reines de Sang" series, this sixth volume of *Aliénor, la Légende noire* brings the saga of Eleanor of Aquitaine to a striking visual close — at least for now. The cover, illustrated by Carlos Gomez, places a regal, crown-adorned Aliénor front and center, draped in rich robes and holding what appears to be a document or letter, while a procession of medieval lords, courtiers, and figures of varying rank fan out behind her against a map-like backdrop of the medieval world.
