Algernon Woodcock #2

May 2003 · Delcourt · [none]
“L'œil Fé - seconde partie”

A figure in a tall top hat and heavy coat stands surrounded by woodland creatures — deer, rabbits, and other animals emerging from the shadows — beneath a brooding, cave-like arch of dark branches and deep blues. Guillaume Sorel's painterly cover art for this second part of "L'œil Fé" radiates an eerie, fairy-tale atmosphere that feels both ancient and otherworldly. Mathieu Gallié and Sorel's collaboration for Delcourt promises something genuinely strange and beautifully rendered in this 2003 continuation.
