Akira #2 (1996) continues the story of a post-apocalyptic Neo-Tokyo, following the aftermath of a mysterious psychic explosion and the government's secret experiments. The issue features the characters Akira, Tetsuo, Kaneda, and the military forces involved in the escalating crisis. Created by Katsuriro Otomo, the artwork and narrative reflect the series' signature blend of dystopian atmosphere and psychological intensity.
