Airboy Comics v4 #8

This anthology issue contains three stories. In the opening Airboy story, Airboy gives a female pilot a blindfolded test flight in his plane as a chance to escape, though she plans to remove the blindfold once airborne and fly back to rescue someone. The story continues with Airboy landing and meeting a doctor who tends to a crash victim. "The Heap" describes a formless, shambling creature that originated in a Polish swamp from the body of a dead German flier, now being studied by men who offer money to someone named Bob Miller. "Backman" introduces the Mansfields, a mysterious and powerful family living on Mansfield Island, whose secret—involving ingenious folding racks—is entrusted to their son Craig Mansfield, who becomes the hero known as Backman.
