Airboy Comics v4 #2

Airboy arrives at Galestrando, California to meet with Padre Martier at a monastery, where he learns his foster sister Birdie is fighting an invisible man in combat. When a criminal named Randy Morgan attempts to ambush him, Airboy defeats Morgan and then helps Willie the Whip, a small smuggler whose dying mother lives in the mountains. Airboy agrees to help Willie reach his mother by flying him in his plane Birdie, but Willie betrays him, revealing he works with Morgan and plans to kill Airboy to rob him. After a struggle, Airboy shoots Willie, killing him, and reassures the injured Whip before departing. The issue also includes an educational feature on model-making and aviation history, discussing World War I fighters, jet engines, radio-controlled models, and gliders.
