While battling a fire dragon in Madripoor, the Agents meet Isaac Ikeda, who calls himself the Protector of Pan. Later, giant columns of white light appear in several Asian cities across the globe, followed by the televised image of Mike Nguyen to explain that this is a demonstration of how Big Nguyen Company's "Pan" will allow citizens to move freely between the connected cities — if they buy a Pan Pass. Shortly following Nguyen's announcement, an injured Isaac Ikeda drops from the sky, followed by numerous dragons.
