Brandon Peterson's cover for Age of Ultron Book Eight drops you straight into a desperate back-alley sprint, with Wolverine leading the charge — claws bared and jaw set — alongside a blonde woman in a Fantastic Four uniform, both of them bearing down on a looming, glowing Ultron sentinel that dominates the foreground. The binary code streaking the sky sets the tone perfectly for this 2013 Marvel event series: a world thoroughly under machine control, and two heroes refusing to accept it.
