Ricardo Delgado's painted-style cover art says everything you need to know about *Age of Reptiles: Tribal Warfare* — a massive theropod head fills the frame, its yellow eye cold and alert, rows of pale teeth slightly parted with a thin trail of saliva hanging from the jaw. It's a beautifully rendered, wordless portrait of prehistoric menace that sets the tone for this 1996 Dark Horse collection perfectly. With introductions by Ray Harryhausen and John Landis lending some extra prestige, this is a fine showcase for Delgado's remarkable dinosaur art.
