“Escape from Riverdale Chapter One: A Boy and His Dog”

In "Escape from Riverdale Chapter One: A Boy and His Dog," a fateful accident sets off a chain of supernatural events when Reggie accidentally hits Hot Dog, prompting Jughead to seek help from Sabrina. With a forbidden spell, Sabrina resurrects the dog—only for the creature to turn violent and infect Jughead, whose transformation begins to unfold by Halloween night. Written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and brought to life with haunting art by Francesco Francavilla, this chilling chapter of Afterlife with Archie Magazine blends small-town dread with the eerie beauty of a world where magic has consequences. The cover, also by Francavilla, captures the story’s unsettling tone in stark, atmospheric detail.
