It's the kind of cover that rewards a long look, with details emerging the longer you stare at the dense, beautifully rendered linework. Shogakukan's Big Comics imprint continues to be a fine home for this series, which clearly isn't afraid to push manga aesthetics somewhere genuinely otherworldly.
