In "The Jaguar's Future Wife!" from Adventures of the Jaguar #5 (1962), Tola chooses the Jaguar as her husband and uses alien technology to capture him—only for Cat Girl to break him free, declaring she’s the one who’ll marry him. The story unfolds with a playful clash of affections, setting up a mystery around who truly belongs by the Jaguar’s side.
