Adventures of Superman #11

Against a backdrop of smoldering wreckage, a blue-skinned Green Lantern points urgently at Superman and pleads — his speech bubble reading "Please, Superman! You have to kill me!" — while the Man of Steel turns to face him with a measured, almost troubled expression. It's a genuinely striking cover image, penciled by Neil Edwards and inked by Scott Hanna, that poses a moral dilemma Superman fans will find hard to resist. Writer Jim Krueger's "The Dark Lantern" looks like exactly the kind of story that reminds you why Superman's code against killing is so compelling to test.
