Issue #68 of KaBOOM!'s Adventure Time serves up a sky-high spectacle, with Finn riding what appears to be a mechanical contraption alongside a wide-mouthed creature, while Flame Princess and a small companion soar atop a pointed vessel — all set against a swirling, ghostly blue entity whose glowing eyes dominate the background. Floating spirit-like figures and crackling lightning bolts fill the scene, and a blue robed character conjures flame below, giving the whole composition a wonderfully chaotic, otherworldly energy. Cover artists Shelli Paroline and Braden Lamb bring their signature warmth and playful detail to this 2017 issue, making it a charming snapshot of the Land of Ooo at its most delightfully strange.
