There's something wonderfully unexpected about seeing Finn dressed as a farmer — straw hat, wooden sandals, and rake in hand — tending what appears to be a zen-style garden while Jake peeks curiously around a stone wall and a giant, stoic Jake-like figure looms in the background. This charming 2017 KaBOOM! issue rounds out the scene with a peculiar raccoon creature, a submerged lizard, and all the quietly surreal Ooo energy fans have come to love. Shelli Paroline and Braden Lamb bring a warm, playful lightness to the cover that makes issue #60 feel like a delightful detour into the strange everyday life of the Land of Ooo.
