Mike Holmes's cover for this 2013 KaBOOM! issue captures a triumphant moment as Finn hoists an enormous sword skyward, his whole body straining with gleeful effort beneath a brilliant sun. Behind him stand a wizard-hatted Jake, Princess Bubblegum with arms raised in excitement, and a partially visible Ice King — the whole Land of Ooo seemingly rallying around whatever's at stake. With Ryan North writing and Shelli Paroline and Braden Lamb bringing the interiors to life, "Grocery Time!" promises the kind of warmhearted, wildly fun storytelling that made this series a treat in 2013.
