This volume collects the earliest Adamson newspaper strips by the Swedish creator Oscar Jacobsson, featuring the silent, cigar-smoking everyman navigating everyday mishaps with deadpan humor. Originally published in the 1920s, these wordless gag cartoons are presented here in a German-language compilation from Droemer-Knaur's 1982 series.
A 1982 German-language edition of Adamson #1, published by Droemer-Knaur, features artwork by Oscar Jacobsson, who both drew and inked the interior pages. The cover was also created entirely by Jacobsson, who handled both pencils and inks.
