“Pattitilanne”

In "Pattitilanne," the Joes pull off a daring rescue in Borovia, extracting Hawk and Lady Jaye from the clutches of the regime's secret police. With Firefly betraying the Pit III's location to Cobra Commander on Cobra Island, the Commander verifies the intel—then buries the traitor alive in a freighter, leaving the brainwashed Ninja Force to spring him again, all while he prepares to strike the Pit III. Written by Larry Hama and illustrated by Andrew Wildman, with inks by Stephen Baskerville and colors by Bob Sharen, this 1993 Semic issue features a cover by Wildman and Baskerville.

The Joes rescue Hawk and Lady Jaye in Borovia from the former regime's secret police. Firefly sells the Pit III's location to Cobra Commander at their meeting on Cobra Island, and the Commander reburies him inside the freighter on the island after checking the information for legitimacy, leaving the brainwashed Ninja Force to free him once again (who were hidden inside the 747 Firefly stole to get to the island) as the Commander goes to attack the Pit III.
