Grunt, after completing his tour, makes the quiet decision to leave the Joes behind.

In "Jungelkrig!", the Joes launch a high-stakes mission to rescue Snake-Eyes from the Terror-Drome, only to find Cobra has already moved him to their new stronghold—the Cobra Consulate in New York. With the Drome abandoned, the team orchestrates a clever ruse, sending a decoy train to mislead Cobra while the real structure is secretly transported downriver for analysis. Meanwhile, Destro departs for Scotland, setting new pieces in motion.
