Action Comics #885
Part of the 2010 "World Against Superman" crossover, this issue drops readers into a charged confrontation between a Kryptonian figure in a blue-and-orange Superman-style suit firing red heat vision and a golden-armored Captain Atom, while panicked civilians scramble for safety amid a hail of debris and crumbling masonry. The cover by Cafu crackles with kinetic energy — both combatants look ready to tear the city apart. With Rucka, Trautmann, and Pérez behind "Divine Spark Part 3," plus a Captain Atom second feature rounding out the package, this is a satisfying read from one of DC's most ambitious Superman-era runs.
