Action Comics #444

Nick Cardy's cover for Action Comics #444 (1975) delivers an immediately gripping scene: a uniformed police officer crouches over the fallen Green Lantern, pointing an accusatory finger at Superman while shouting, "You murdered Green Lantern!" — leaving the Man of Steel standing in a spotlight, arms open and expression stunned.
