Action Comics #35
In "After Doomed," Superman returns to Earth after facing Brainiac, only to confront the aftermath of his victory with a quiet unease. As he reconnects with Smallville and Lana Lang, who’s managing things despite the chaos, Clark grapples with doubt—so much so that he pens a self-doubting blog post that sparks a fiery response from Lois Lane, who fires back with a defiant counter-article. Meanwhile, a sudden attack on Lana in a graveyard hints that the peace may be more fragile than it seems. Written by Greg Pak and illustrated by Scott Kolins, with inks by Vicente Cifuentes, colors by Wil Quintana, and letters by Carlos M. Mangual, the cover by Aaron Kuder captures the weight of the moment.
