“The Superman Satellite”

In "The Superman Satellite," a mysterious phenomenon unfolds when young Tommy, returning from a space mission, spots strange rainbow rings encircling Earth—rings that only he can see. As his vision fades and dizziness sets in, he’s rushed to Planeteers sick bay, where doctors prescribe a simple remedy: a glass of milk every hour for three days. Written by Otto Binder and illustrated by Jim Mooney, with a cover by Al Plastino, this 1957 issue blends cosmic wonder with a touch of grounded humor, all wrapped in the classic charm of mid-century Superman tales.
