“The Superman of Tomorrow”

In "The Superman of Tomorrow," a mysterious cosmic chess game unfolds across the stars, where alien beings manipulate planets and stars as pieces—until young Jo, using nothing but quick thinking and a child’s innocent logic, calls their bluff. Written by Otto Binder and illustrated by Jim Mooney, this 1956 classic blends sci-fi wonder with a quiet moment of wisdom, all framed by Wayne Boring’s iconic cover and Stan Kaye’s crisp inks.
