☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeDC's 2022 facsimile edition of Action Comics #1 reproduces the most recognized cover in superhero history with remarkable fidelity — a caped Superman hoisting a green automobile overhead and smashing it against a rocky surface while two terrified figures flee and cower nearby. The cover art by Joe Shuster crackles with raw energy, that vivid yellow burst behind the car and the scattering debris capturing the sheer, almost primal excitement of a new kind of hero. It's a wonderful opportunity to hold this landmark June 1938 image in a fresh, high-quality printing, paired with Jerry Siegel and Shuster's original Superman story inside.
