A love letter to heavy metal culture in comic form, this 2005 Albin Michel release from the creative trio of Ptiluc, Joan, and Harty puts two gloriously over-the-top metalheads front and center — a stocky, axe-wielding headbanger in a denim vest snarling "GRRR" alongside a lanky, long-haired ghoul in black brandishing a grinning skull. The caricature art is gleefully exaggerated, capturing the swagger and absurdity of metal fandom with obvious affection rather than mockery.
