Abbott and Costello Comics #28

The issue contains two main Abbott and Costello stories. In the first story shown on the cover, one of the comedians is hospitalized after stubbing his toe and claims to have hospitalization coverage. The second story, "Money-Mad," involves Abbott and Costello being mistaken for welchers and finding themselves pursued by dangerous men seeking them out. This leads to a chaotic sequence where Costello, having a nightmare, wakes up confused, and the pair eventually end up at a restaurant where a waiter is mistaken for a fugitive wanted in forty-eight states for forgery, culminating in a frantic escape scene.
