A Train Called Love #6

Garth Ennis's anarchic romantic comedy from Dynamite charges into its sixth issue with a cover that says everything about the series' gleefully unhinged sensibility. A grinning, white-haired figure in a dramatic dark coat — one hand raised, a revolver dangling from the other — leads a crowd of armed, rough-looking characters who pack the background with menace and barely contained chaos. Russ Braun's linework, colored by Salvatore Aiala Studios, gives the scene a sharp, almost theatrical energy that makes this one hard to pass over on the shelf.
