A Train Called Love #4

Garth Ennis's sharp, darkly comic series rolls into its fourth issue, and Mark Dos Santos's cover sets the tone perfectly — two women share beers and easy conversation at what looks like a keyboard-equipped bar, blissfully unaware of the three hulking, sunglasses-wearing figures looming ominously behind them in a wash of deep red. The contrast between that relaxed, everyday scene in the foreground and the menacing trio overhead is exactly the kind of tense absurdity that makes A Train Called Love such a compelling ride. If you've been following this Dynamite series, issue #4 promises more of the chaotic collision between ordinary lives and very extraordinary trouble.
