Dr. Jekyll has created a potion that transforms him into the evil Mr. Hyde, a monstrous creature beyond his control. After Hyde pursues and terrorizes a woman named Annabella, Jekyll attempts to reverse the transformation by drinking an antitoxidant, but finds the potion has become ineffective and he is now permanently trapped as Hyde. In a final desperate act, Hyde crashes through a window to his apparent death while fleeing into the streets of London.
