Flo, whose husband Harry has been in prison for 3 years, agrees to date Jerry as a favour to a co-worker, and they fall in love. Harry is released on parole and is reunited with Flo, but as time goes by she realises he’s returned to a life of crime. Harry hits Flo when she objects, and later demands she flee with him after he kills a man. Flo confesses all to Jerry, but insists her duty is to stay with her husband. Fortunately, Harry is shot to death by the police so Flo is now free.
