Mr. Beastly's latest extravaganza is about to open on Broadway when his leading lady is injured. The desperate Beastly takes flower girl Mamie and teaches her the entire part in the 30 minutes before curtain. She becomes such a big star that she leaves her family behind, but finally breaks down with feelings of guilt. Once again she's a flower girl, but she's still got talent. When another producer's leading lady is injured, he stops Mamie on the street -- and buys all her flowers.
