A Lucky Luke Adventure #72

The cover of this 72nd Lucky Luke Adventure sets up a delightfully absurd classroom scenario: Lucky Luke himself stands centre-stage, cool as ever in his yellow shirt and red neckerchief, a revolver drawn mid-spin, while a stern schoolmaster in a top hat reads from a book and gestures instructively. The infamous Dalton Brothers — a sulking one in a dunce cap at the left, two more seated at school desks in the foreground — are very much the reluctant pupils here. Morris's clean, expressive line work gives the whole scene an irresistible comic energy that makes "Marcel Dalton" one of the more intriguing premises in this long-running Cinebook series.
