A Lucky Luke Adventure #28

The cover by Morris says it all: a smirking Lucky Luke leans from a saloon doorway, gun smoking, as four identically dressed Dalton Cousins scramble away in wide-eyed, stumbling panic beneath the saloon sign. It's a delightful snapshot of the comedic Western energy that Morris and Goscinny brought to this long-running series, with the gag landing perfectly before you've even opened a page. Adventure #28 is a fine entry point into the world of the man who shoots faster than his shadow.
