The fourth chapter of Haiko Hörnig and Marius Pawlitza's *A House Divided* arrives with a cover that crackles with green lightning and barely contained chaos — a blue-haired girl clutches a glowing key and rides atop a snarling dark creature, while swords-drawn companions, a wide-eyed beast, and a startled horse-like figure scramble through an explosion of debris all around her. Pawlitza's animated, expressive linework gives the whole scene a breathless, action-packed energy that suits the subtitle "The Lost Daughter" perfectly. If this 2022 issue is any indication, the series continues to blend adventure, quirky creature designs, and genuine heart in one very lively package.

Henrietta and her group fight off repeated attacks by the stone men, whose leader turns out to be Henrietta's mother -- a simulacrum created by Ornun Zol to be his child. Quarrels between daughter and father had created the war. Ornun Zol finally appears; father and daughter wage a mighty battle. But the house has become Henrietta's, and with the house's power she saves her mother, by returning her to infancy, to gain a second chance. The wizard acknowledges his faults in maintaining the war, and dies of his wounds. The house, now fit and healthy, is Henrietta's.
