Jason joins the Resistance and his first mission is to kill the Avatar. With Ninivir's help he makes it to Seren's chambers. Seren takes his rebels back to Siovansin and starts to plan for the assault on the Hierarchy. Niniri learns the location of the Resistance's headquarters and that Jason is still alive. Seren directs his group to kill everyone at the headquarters to prevent them being captured by Niniri. Chris is killed in the ensuing action. Jorvanna tries to poison D'Mer and is executed for her treason.
