A Couple of Cuckoos #2

The charming romantic comedy by Miki Yoshikawa continues with this second volume, and the cover sets the tone perfectly — a purple-haired girl with vivid green eyes smiles with easy confidence in the foreground while a dark-haired, wide-eyed boy in a school uniform looks on flustered in the rain behind her. That contrast between her composure and his bewildered expression says everything about the delightful awkwardness at the heart of this series. If the first volume left you hooked on their mismatched dynamic, volume two promises plenty more of the same warm, comedic tension.
