A Certain Magical Index #27

The story by Kazuma Kamachi, adapted by Chuya Kogino with character designs by Kiyotaka Haimura, takes our spiky-haired protagonist and a delighted silver-haired girl in a flowing blue dress straight to London — Big Ben, a red double-decker bus, a classic phone box, and all. Volume 27 captures that winning mix of charm and energy perfectly, as the two look wide-eyed at their surroundings, a London map in hand and a dainty teacup and teapot floating between them for good measure. If you've been following this series, this 2023 installment looks like a thoroughly enjoyable new chapter in the adventure.
