“The Menace of Muscles McGinnis”

In "The Menace of Muscles McGinnis," young Billy Batson finds himself in the middle of a high-stakes showdown at the local movie theater, where Sivana and his henchmen have set a trap. With Captain Marvel's powers temporarily silenced by a mysterious helmet, it's up to Billy's wits and courage to outsmart the villain before he unleashes a paralyzing gas from his airborne fortress. George Tuska handles both art and inks for the interior, while C. C. Beck delivers the dynamic cover.

Billy is sent down to the local movie theatre to watch the new Captain Marvel movie, and Sivana and his men decide to join him. Sivana captures Billy and places a special helmet over his head so that he can't speak his magic word. But Billy escapes that trap and it's all that Captain Marvel can do to stop Sivana from using a paralyzing gas to conquer New York from his dirigible.
