24 Heures du Mans #10
A century of speed and ingenuity gets the full graphic-novel treatment in this 2023 Glénat volume subtitled *100 Ans d'Innovations*, crafted by Bernard and Papazoglakis. The cover is a gorgeous sweep through racing history — a leather-helmeted driver at the wheel of a vintage open-cockpit racer anchors the foreground, while five machines from different eras streak across the face of an enormous clock behind him: the Gulf-liveried Porsche #20, the experimental Howmet #22, a red Ferrari #21, a pale blue prototype #2, and a modern Peugeot HDi #9 at the top. It's a confident visual argument that Le Mans has always been as much about engineering ambition as raw competition, and that argument has rarely looked this good on a single page.
