24 #2
IDW's 24: Underground #2 brings the tension of the hit television franchise to the comics page, with a taut cover by Davide Furnò showing a determined man in work clothes and a hard hat striding urgently through what appears to be a smoke-hazed port city — the word "ODESSA" visible on a tower looming behind him. The red-drenched atmosphere and industrial waterfront setting give the whole image a covert-ops-on-the-run feeling that fits the 24 universe perfectly. With Ed Brisson writing and Michael Gaydos on interior art, this 2014 IDW series looks like a worthy expansion of one of TV's most pulse-pounding franchises.
