A battered, feral Wolverine — claws unsheathed, glowing red eyes blazing — emerges from a heap of demolished robotic wreckage, while a prim little girl in a purple dress sits atop the pile with a quietly defiant expression that somehow steals the whole scene. Juan José Ryp's cover work is intricate and visceral, layering shredded mechanical parts beneath circuit-board greens to give the whole image a distinctly tech-horror atmosphere perfectly suited to the 2020 iWolverine saga. With Larry Hama writing and Roland Boschi and Andres Mossa bringing the interiors to life, this second issue promises the same unsettling blend of flesh, metal, and wild unpredictability.
