Prog 942 of 2000 AD puts Judge Dredd in serious trouble, with the cover tagline spelling it out plainly: "Dredd — Ambushed in the Cursed Earth." Jason Brashill's cover art shows the helmeted lawman pinned and grappled by a pair of hulking, grey-skinned mutant figures — clawed hands closing in from every angle beneath a "Radlands!" banner that gives the wasteland setting a suitably grim grandeur. Inside, Garth Ennis writes and Nick Percival provides full art on "Goodnight Kiss, Part 3," making this a strong mid-story instalment from one of British comics' most enduring weekly anthologies.
