2000 AD #878

Prog 878 of 2000 AD dominates with a grotesque, up-close face dominating the cover — bandage-wrapped eye staring wide, blue-skinned jaw stretched open to reveal a row of jagged teeth, held together with metal staples and raw menace. Jim McCarthy's cover art announces two thrills: the continuing Judge Dredd content and a new strip, "The Grudge-Father," spinning off from the "Grudgement Day!" banner across the middle of the cover. It's a suitably unsettling 1994 slice of British comics at their most gleefully weird.
