That cover says it all — a massive, drooling tyrannosaur dominates the frame, its jaws gaping over a lone human figure who looks very much like he's about to have a very bad day, all rendered in vivid reds and oranges by cover artist Carl Critchlow. The tagline "Teething Trouble in Flesh" and the gleeful "Say… ARRGH!" make clear that 2000 AD's Flesh strip is serving up prehistoric peril in full, visceral style. Prog 819, dated 23 January 1993, also promises Judge Dredd inside alongside the tantalizing note of "Great Robo-Hunter News, Chums!" — a fine Saturday anthology package from Fleetway.
