Prog 813 of 2000 AD hits December 1992 with a cover by Simon Jacob featuring a hulking, horned beast-man in blue armour striding defiantly across a rubble-strewn landscape, a Confederate flag blazing behind him — all tied to the headline promise of a brand-new Dead Meat series beginning inside.
